Ruby Lee (Thompson) Hatch

Ruby Thompson  was born on August 17, 1936, in Crockett, Texas, to Lee Andrew Thompson and Ruby Thompson, the firstborn of six children.

Ruby received her formal education at Ralph J. Bunche High School in Crockett, Texas. At an early age, she accepted Christ and was baptized at Hopewell Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member until her health declined.

Ruby met and married Marshana Hatch.

On December 11, 2025, Ruby Thompson Hatch entered into eternal rest.  She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Newman and Mary Hickman. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory numerous relatives and friends, including her special neighbors, John and Lisa Chaffin, whom she loved dearly.
