Richard Wesley Campbell

Richard Wesley Campbell was born on May 4, 1938 in Waterproof, Louisiana to Tommie Campbell and Lessie Helton Campbell.

He attended area schools and furthered his education at Grambling State University.  Having the desire to serve his country, he enlisted in the United States Army in 1961 and was discharged in 1966.

Richard was employed by General Motors.  During his spare time, he loved to play blackjack and poker. 

On August 22, 2022, Richard departed this life.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and seven brothers.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Krishna Campbell Buford (Christopher); grandchildren, Chancellor, Kreston, Kamille and Caleb Buford and a host of other relatives and friends.
