In 1976, Rolanda Parson was born to Eugene G. Parson and Rena G. Felix in Houston, Texas. She completed grade school in Houston and began her career as a dental assistant.
Rolanda was the embodiment of laughter, a good spirit, and always had a helping hand to lend to others. She was full of life and compassion, especially for her family and friends. Rolanda possessed a deep love and passion for her children and others, alike, and was a foodie; she LOVED food.
On Monday, June 9, 2025, Rolanda Parson entered into peaceful rest. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister (Carolyn D. Parson).
Left to honor her life and cherish her memory are her children: Alize R. Scott, Janae R. Pickens, Jevil Gray; granddaughter, Navaeh Williams; grandson, Halo Scott; niece, April D. Penn; god-sister, Yolandra Payne; devoted and special friends, Ruben Bradford, Ozia Ree Bradford-Pickens; god-parents, and a host of other relatives and friends.
