Narse Mammie Moore was born on August 7, 1943 in Crockett, Texas to Ruben and Idell Richardson Moore.
Narse graduated from Kashmere High School. Thereafter, she pursue a career in the health care industry and worked for Texas Home Health Care as a home health care provider for many years.
Narse married Jimmie Johnson. This union was blessed with three children: Jimmie, Jr., Frankie D., and Tracy.
On the quiet evening of July 8, 2025, God called home our dear sister, Narse Mammie Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, parents, sister (Dorothy Williams), and three brothers (Charles Ruben, Frank L. and Willie O.).
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Tracy Johnson; six grandchildren: Monique, Isaiah, Alexis (Yogi), Frankie, Jr. (Ironesha), Tracee, Alayla; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters (Elizabeth Davis, Angela Minor, Sheila Foster (Rev. Dr. Freddie Foster); two brothers, Earnest Minor (Sabina); step-mother, Annie Moore Bolton (Rev. Lynn Bolton); sisters-in-law, Pearlie B. Moore and Lillie Moore, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
