Marque DeShawn Stewart

Marque Deshon Stewart was born September 30, 1977 in Houston, Texas, to Sally Jordan and Rockie Lee Stewart.  Throughout his life, he was guided by the parental strength of Patrick Jackson, Presley Kelly and Jonathan Williams. He received his formal education in the Houston Independent School District by attending Whidby Elementary, Cullen Middle School and Jack Yates High School.

Marque accepted Christ at an early age. He gained employment as a warehouse worker with Amazon. He loved the game of basketball and running track.

Marque departed this life on August 13, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife (Angela Blackburn), grandparents (Earlen Jordan, J.B. Jordan, Willie and Mary Jackson), two uncles (Bobby Pittman and Ottie Ray Jordan), aunt (Ruby Smith), nephew (Tadarrel St. Julian), brother (Keith Jackson) and one cousin (Krystal Beauchamp). His death was followed by his aunt, Barbara Ann Jackson.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Sally Williams (Jonathan),  Patrick Jackson, Presley Jackson; children, JoKeith Ferrell, Marque    Stewart, Jr., Marquette Stewart, Markia Stewart, Cornell Stewart, Marquez Stewart, Markel Stewart, Shadrik Blackburn, Brionna Blackburn and Tre’Veun Ivory; grandchildren, Jaliyah Jackson and Kylie Stewart; sister, Roxanne Jordan; brothers, Carlton Stewart, Patrick Jackson; uncles,    Richard Jordan, Lonnie Earl Jordan and Carl Jordan; aunts, Barbara Jean Fuller, Sheila Murray, Mellonie Jackson and Bernadine Jackson; sister-in-law, Tracie Blackburn; mother-in-law, Dewilla Blackburn and a host of other relatives and friends.
