Leroy Guillory

His Story

David Guillory, Jr. was born on June 21, 1947 in Beaumont, Texas to the parentage of
Leroy and Geneva Simon Guillory. He attended and graduated from Charlton-Pollard
High School.

David accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Minister Richard Lott and
maintained his faith throughout his life.

After reaching the age of majority, David enlisted in the United States Army on June 28,
1965. He served his country dutifully and received an honorable discharge.
David met June Evelyn Piert and knew she was the one. They were united in Holy
Matrimony and began their family.

For many years, David was a long-haul truck driver. He believed in taking care of his
family.

On November 26, 2022, David Guillory, Jr. entered the realm of eternity. He was
preceded in transition by his wife, parents, and daughter (Shantelle Guillory).
Left to honor his life and cherish his memory are his children, Leroy Guillory, III, Fred
Guillory, and David Guillory; grandchildren, Joseph Jones, India Hudson, Stephen
Guillory, Jessica Guillory, Jasmin Guillory, Deandre Cooer, Ayanna Ali, Landon
Guillory, Londyn Guillory, David Guillory, Jr., Detrayon Guillory, Sharon Guillory,
Jehranae Wilmore, Javious Guillory, and Jehran Wilmore, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Liam
Thompson, Jayden Guillory, Efrem Robinson, Aubree Robinson, Caleb Robinson, Aerie
Hudson and Kayla Hudson; brother, Louis Charles Guillory, Leonard Guillory and
Donald Ray Guillory; nieces, Jayda Guillory and Syreeta Petry; nephew, Louis Charles
Guillory, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
