LINDA FAY HEARNE

Linda Faye Hearne was born on March 9, 1957 in Grimes County to the parentage of General Lee and Julia Mae Hearne.  She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized.  Linda received her formal education in the Houston Independent School District and graduated from E.E. Worthing High School.

Linda enjoyed being with family and friends in the community. She was everybody's "play" mother and was affectionately known as "Mz. Buttons", "Rose Randall", "Norma Williams" and"Rickey Thomas" by her family and friends.

Linda made her transition from this earthly life into eternal rest on Monday, September 1, 2025.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers (General Lee Hearne, Jr. and Homer Hearne) and her granddaughter (Chloe Z. Hearne).  Left to cherish her memory are her children: Roderick E. Hearne, Sr. and Walter W. Wilson; grandchildren: Roderick E. Hearne, Jr., A'nyia Jackson, Josiah WIlson, Amauri Hearne, Chayce N. Hearne, Jiana Johnson, Jeweliana Johnson and Ma'Lanhi I. Hearne; siblings: Robert Hearne (Louise), Don Hearne, Patricia Hearne (Tim); sister-in-law,  Doris Hearne and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and her beloved Cloverland Community.
