Kenneth Wayne Stevenson

Kenneth Wayne Stevenson was born on July 7, 1961 in Lovelady, Texas to the parentage of Willie Lee and Alma Jewel Wingwood Stevenson.  He received his formal education from Mading Elementary, Albert Thomas Middle School and Ross Shaw Sterling .

Kenneth accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mary’s Chapel.

Kenneth’s greatest joys included cleaning, working, and football.  He chose a career in the construction field.

On January 8, 2023, Kenneth Wayne Stevenson departed this life.  He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Larry Stevenson, A. B. Bailey, Tim Horace, Wayne Horace, Tom Bailey; two sisters (Margie Mark, Myra Bailey), his grandparents (Willie and Velma  Wingwood), one nephews, Derrick Batts, Jr., and his adopted mother (Louella Wingwood). 

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Robert Stevenson and Calvin Horace; three sisters, Debra Stevenson, Jackie Kizzie and Donna Brown; two aunts, Janice Harris and Ruthie Grisby; one uncle, Earl Harris; two nieces, Monique Stevenson and Lasha Stevenson; nephew, Thaddeus Webb, Jr., and a host great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members and friends.
