Joseph Earl Moten

Obituary

Joseph Earl Moten was born on October 13, 1956 in Crockett, Texas to Jessie Lee Moten and Eva Mae Mask Moten.  He attended Crockett Elementary and graduated from Crockett High in 1975.

At an early age, Joseph accepted Christ and was baptized at Pine Grove Baptist Church.  He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Houston Rockets.

For 42 years, he was employed as a maintenance engineer at Griffin Realty and Fuller Realty. He was well-respected by his peers and co-workers.

On November 10, 2022, Joseph Earl Moten entered into eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters; Eva Mae Harrison, and Earlie Mae Martin.  Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 23 years, Virginia; grandchild, Jayden Charles; sisters, Jessie Mae Jackson (Burvia), Marjorie Jordan and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
