JESSIE OWENS

Jessie Owens, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and a friend, was born on June 8, 1945 in Crockett, Texas to Willie Sr., and Jessie Mae Owens. Jessie was the four of ten siblings.

At a young age, Jessie dedicated her life to Christ at  Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Crockett, Texas. She later became a member to Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

Jessie attended Ralph Bunche School in Crockett, Texas in 1965.

Jessie worked at Pineywood Home Healthcare for many years, she always gave her best and leaving an impression on everyone she met.

Jessie leaves behind a wonderful family. Her children: Rhonda Owens-Wooten (Reginal), Roland Owens, and Jerome Owens (Tiffany). Grandchildren: Ashley Hart, La'Terrick Wagner, La'Kevia Owens, Jeremy Owens, Alaxia Owens and Royland Owens Jr. Great-Grandchildren: Noesha Jones, Josiah Raglin, Kingston Owens, Jerdi Owens, Siblings: Billy Owens, James Owens (Earlene), George Owens (Jcette), Willie Owens Jr. Cynthia), Alma Owens, Freddie Owens, and Wilma Owens. 

Special Loved Ones: Diketriel McKnight, Lamel Perry, Reggie Owens, Rorimerk Marcia Ware, and Tanyia Moore. She also leave a host of niece, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
