HOWARD EUGENE JONES

Howard Eugene Jones was born on July 10, 1968 in Galveston, Texas to Eugene Mucker and Wilma Jones.

He attended Sunnyside Elementary School, Crispus Attucks Middle School and Worthing High School.

Howard was baptized in 1973 at Bailey’s Chapel Baptist Church in Angleton, Texas and maintained his faith throughout his life.  He was a dedicated employee of Texas Children’s Hospital and eventually struck out on his own with the goal of being an entrepreneur.

On March 10, 2025, Howard Eugene Jones entered the realm of eternity.  He was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents (Idella and Fred Williams), nephew (Carson Jones, Jr.), 2 aunts and 4 uncles.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Eugene Mucker; spouse, Claudesia K. Jones; life-partner, Helen Robinson; step-children: Demerikko Reynolds, Sterling Davis, Jalen Davis, Amayah Waters; grandson, Jalen Davis, Jr.; sister, Shequoya Perez (Sacramento); three brothers: Carson Jones (Brittania), Patrick Mucker and Ronnie Mucker; uncle, Jimmy “Neal”   Barefield; nieces, Ryanna Gillespie and Carsonja Black; nephew, Treyvaun Jones, and a host of other relatives and friends.
