Fredrick Chatman

Fredrick Demond Chatman was born on November 29, 1975 in Crockett, Texas to the parentage of John Olan Chatman and Lou Willie Colter. He    attended the Crockett area schools and graduated from Crockett High School.

Fredrick accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. He was gainfully employed at Willie Josey’s Auto Repair, Sonic, The Post Office in Grapeland, Texas and Vulcraft in Crockett, Texas.

In his spare time, he enjoyed a good game of dominoes as well as playing video games.

Fredrick met Tracie Tillis. To this union, one daughter was born and they raised a daughter. Later in life, he met Cashunda Bacon.   Together, they  parented one son.

On September 23, 2022, Fredrick Demond Chatman entered the realm of eternity. He was preceded in transition by his parents, two sisters (Linda Chatman and Areatha Chatman), grandparents (Roosevelt and Viola Chatman, Maude Sherman and Cat Colter).

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Sharael Tillis, Clarence Bacon and Kimberly Tillis; sisters, Kathy Watson and Dora Chatman; brother, Cory Chatman; uncles, Port Authur Colter, Jim Chatman and Larry Colter; aunts, Johnnie Mae Jones, Rosemary Chatman, Ollie Burton, Lucy Ross, Florine Mask, Dessie Chatman and Sue Mosley; niece, Tashayla Davis; nephews, Derrick, Diquan, Keyshawn, Kiander and Javon; those that were special to him, Tracie Tillis, Terrance and Annie Randles, Aretha Pinson, James Griffin, ReRe Thompson, Chamerlle  Donnel, Mack Sandles, Juan Ortega, Cashunda Bacon, Herniece Bolton and special twin, Debra Grooms.
