Eloise Mosley was born on April 14, 1930 in Liberty, Texas, to the parentage of Abie and Agnes Mosley. She attended elementary school in Moss Bluff, Texas, and completed her secondary education in Liberty Training High School.
Eloise always had a passion for helping people so she obtained a degree in Nursing and worked at St. Luke’s Hospital for thirty years.
Eloise was a proud member of St. John Baptist Church for many years under the leadership of Rev. N. C. Crain. She later joined Mt. Hebron Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Johnnie Robertson and remained a member until her health began to fail her. She was affiliated with the Women’s Mission Society Ministry, Mission Chorus, and Nurses on the Move Ministry. She awas a inspirational and active worker with the Wednesday night Prayer and Teachers’ Meeting.
Eloise met and married Carl Davis and together, they created a loving home for their family.
On October 25, 2025, Eloise Davis entered the realm of eternity. She was preceded in transition by her loving husband, parents, beloved brothers (Leo, Roger, Eddie Lee and Cleveland Mosley) and sister (Angelina).
Left to honor her life and cherish her precious memory are her sisters, Bobbie Calloway, Velma Portis and Lottie Walker, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
