Damon Vancleef Spiller

Damon VanCleef Spiller was born on January 25, 1968 in Houston, Texas to Georgia L. Spiller.   He attended Grimes Elementary, Albert Thomas Middle School and Ross Shaw Sterling High School.  While in high school, he participated in the Jr. R.O.T.C. program and the United States Junior Officers Training Corps.

Damon was a hard worker and enjoyed playing chess as a hobby.

On July 24, 2024, Damon entered into eternal rest.  He was preceded in death by his mother.  Left to honor his life and cherish his memory are his children:  LaCraig Joseph (Kandiss), Damon V. Spiller, Jr. and DeAnthony Spiller; grandchildren, Laniya Joseph, Azari Joseph and LaCraig Joseph, Jr.; two sisters, Dorothy Morris (Robert) and Damita Spiller; three brothers: Djuan Spiller, Dorian Day, Deric Spiller and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
