DEXTER JEROME WATSON

Dexter Jerome Watson was born on October 17, 1995 in Houston, Texas to the parentage of Dexter Neil Amos and Sharon Ann Watson.  As a product of the Houston Independent School District, he attended Kashmere Elementary, Northwest Preparatory Academy and Houston Heights High School. At an early age, he was baptized and maintained his faith in Christ throughout his life. 

 Dexter was a loving young man who enjoyed drawing, working out, photography and editing.  He was a fitness training coach for Herbalife. Having a mind for productivity, Dexter worked for the Houston Independent School District and Walmart.

On August 7, 2023, Dexter Jerome Watson entered the realm of eternity.  He was preceded in transition by his grandfather (Charlie Fred Watson, Sr.), great-grandparents (Lavern Moore and Tommy Lister) and one cousin (Shelitta Dyann).

Those that remain to honor his life and cherish his memory are his parents, Sharon Ann  Watson and Dexter Neil Amos (Safiya); sister, Ke’Andra Diane Watson; brother, Kevin Neil Amos; grandparents, Sharon Dyann Watson of Houston, Willie B. and Sharon Amost of Bryan, Texas; aunts, Chrissandra and DeShawndra Watson, both of Houston, and Katrina Amos of Bryan, Texas; uncles, Charlie Fred Watson, Jr. and Freeman Watson, both of  Houston, and Eugene Amos of Bryan, Texas; niece, Laila Barnes; nephews, Karter Amos, Mazlyon Armstead and a host of other relatives and friends who will truly miss him.
