Connie Lue (Sanders) Sanders

Remembering Connie

Connie Lue Sanders was born on December 7, 1948 in Orange, Texas to the
parentage of Otis and Lee Ethel Lacy Sanders. She attended M.B. North High
School in Orange. After high school, she furthered her studies at Bryman
School of Nursing where she obtained her nursing certification.
At an early age, Connie was baptized at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church by Rev.
Calvin C. Jones and was a member of the choir. Later in life, she united with
Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church and remained a faithful member under the
pastoral guidance of Rev. Christopher McDaniel.
She enjoyed working in the medical field and gained employment with the
University of Texas Dental Branch and was a private health care sitter.
On October 30, 2023, Connie Lue Sanders entered into the realm of eternity.
She was preceded in transition by her parents.
Left to honor her life and cherish her memory are her son, Maurice Sanders
(Mattie); grandchildren, Angel Sanders, Shannon Green, Brandy Spates and
Lela Williams; great-grandchildren,Walter, Jaiden, Ezra, JyAire, Nizir, Casyn

and Azorya; three sisters, JoAnn Runnels, Avis Sanders and June Sanders-
Smith (James); two brothers, John Sanders and Lee Sanders; best friend,

Princess Knott and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
