Claudette Parker was born on February 19, 1951 in Houston, Texas to the parentage of Rufus and Zephray Gibbs Parker. She attended E.O. Smith Middle School and Phyllis Wheatly High School.
At an early age, Claudette accepted Christ and was baptized. She maintained her faith throughout her life.
For many years, she worked in the Houston Independent School District as a bus driver. She later worked at Night Hawk Limousine Service with her brother, Freddie. Claudette loved life and was known by many. She never met a stranger. She loved music and dancing and turned everywhere she went, into a party.
On February 18, 2025, Claudette entered into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, biological father (John Walter) and brother (Rufus Parker, Jr.).
Left to honor her life and cherish her memory are her children: Michelle Glover Lee, John Glover and Angela Wooten Robinson (Ralph); grandchildren: Tiffany Edmonds, Marquis Broussard, Alvin George, Derrick George, Ezekiel George, Kashay Glover, Serenity Glover, Jayshaun Glover, Krystal Robinson, Kherstyn Robinson, Kennedi Robinson and Kaleigh Robinson; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Freddie Stanford and Greg Jones; sisters, Renee Walter-Smith and LaDonna Walter; aunt/cousin, Mary Alice Wicks and a host of other relatives and friends who will truly miss her.
Her life and legacy will be treasured by her family and friends.
