Bobby Lee Colter

Bobby Lee Colter was born on May 7, 1936 in the Berea community of Houston County, Texas to the parentage of Charlie and Carrie Wiley Colter.

Bobby accepted Christ at an early age. He attended school in the Berea school district.  He enjoyed being with fanily and friends, watching wrestling and old western movies and shows, and the love of music, especially music made by “Lightning Hopkins”.  For many years, he worked in the factories in Texas and Arizona.

On February 28, 2026, Bobby Lee Colter entered into eternal rest.  He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to honor his life and cherish his memory are his children:  Ronda Webb (Tim) of Louise, Texas, Rayfell McCullough of  Crockett, Bobby Earl Colter (Paulina) of Cypress, Texas, Derrell Colter, Curtis Colter, Doris Robinson, Shera Colter and Clora Mitchell (Kerwin), all of Crockett, Texas; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; two sisters: Carrie Bell Coleman of Huntsville, Texas and Rosie B. Colter of Crockett as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
