Albert Lee Wooten

Albert Lee Wooten was born on March 31, 1969 in Crockett, Texas to the parentage of Burvin Wooten and Mary Jane Murphy Wooten.  He attended Crockett Elementary, Junior High and High School.  After graduation, he furthered his education at DeVry  University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.  Thereafter, he attended Champions School of Real Estate.

Albert was a Christian and maintained his faith throughout his life.  He enjoyed cooking, reading, running, cycling, and spending time with family and friends.  He had a love for laughing, joking around, long walks in Hermann park, and sitting by the lake, soaking up Gods beauty.

Albert was an industious individual.  Gainfully employed, he worked at BMC Software from 1995-2006 as a Staff Buyer.  He worked for KBR in two capacities; from 2011-2014, he was in Project Procurement and from 2014-2016, Supervisor Procurement.  Finding his niche in real estate, he worked with Coldwell-Banker through his final days,

On July 18, 2024, Albert Lee Wooten entered the realm of eternity.  He was preceded in transition by his parents, two brothers (Burvin, Jr. and Bobby Wooten) and two nieces (Akendra Wooten and Kirsten Thomas).

Left to honor his life and cherish his memory are his sisters: Freddie Thomas (David), Mary Schwartz (Michael), Gloria Mitchell (Douglas) and Sharon McKnight (Mickel); two brothers: Dennis Wooten (Venus) and Victor Wooten (Alisha); two aunts: Eloise Wooten and Betty Wooten; nephews: Mickel, Jr., Michael, Jr., Dennis andVictor, Jr.; nieces: Tashena, Michelle, Felicia, Shateria, Antraneisha and a host of other relatives and friends.
