Official Obituary of

TAMARA LA'DAWN ALLEN

TAMARA ALLEN Obituary

Tamara came into our lives on February 9, 1983 to the proud parentage of Redell Allen and  Juanita Gale Harris Allen.

Affectionately known as “Tam”, she completed Nimitz High School in Irving, Texas. She also   attended Ranger College in Stephenville, Texas where she excelled in basketball in both places.

Tam  was an avid writer with the ability to put on paper what was in her heart.  She was a “free-spirited” and loving person with a burning desire to travel, which she did.  Living abroad in Costa Rica for approximately a year, she also visited Peru where she acquired many friends.

Most of all, Tamara loved her family, especially her 9 nieces and one great-niece, Ka’Miya.

On May 31, 2026, Tamara LaDawn “The Top of the Morn” Allen entered into eternal rest.  Those waiting to greet her are her infant sister (Ashley), brother (Cedric Owens), grandparents (Robell and Mary Allen, Arthur Harris), great-grandmother (Addie Scott), uncles (Lincoln Allen Red Pruitt Allen) and aunt (Marcella “Bo” Jackson).

Left to honor her life and cherish her memory are her parents, Redell and Juanita Allen; grandmother, Mary Harris; sister, Tenesha Allen; brother, Rev. Aaron Knight (Krishanna); nieces:           Cedmyiah, Ajza Owens, Ta’Mya Allen, Justice Allen-Sims, Devyn Allen, Tatiana Allen-Cuba, Amaree Cuba, Riley Cuba, Ariyana Knight; great-niece, KaMiya Judkins; uncles: Ronnie Harris (LaShawyn), Michael Harris (Fannie), Anthony Harris (Cheryll), Arthur K.
