Ronald Lewis Mills

Ronald Lewis Mills was born on August 15, 1968 in Huntsville, Texas to the  parentage of James Otis Mills and Annie Maude Mills.  He attended Galilee Church of God in Christ at an early age, pastored by the late Superintendent    Noble Cooper, Sr.Often led by the hands of his grandmother, Sister Lillie Mills, to the House of GOD, Ronald grew up with the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ in his heart.Over the years, Ronald was employed at Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the Crockett State School and was a United States Veteran.  He majored in    Business/Computers while attending IT Techninal School, Angelina College and Business Scholared at various institutes.On May 1, 2023, Ronald Lewis Mills entered into eternal rest.  He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents (Lillie Mills and Archie Mills, Mrs. Willie Woods Jones and C.W. Jones.Those remain in God’s care are his mother, Mrs. Annie McCullough (Detroit) of Crockett; daughter, LaKisha Woods (John) of Tyler, Texas; sons, Reginald Evans and Derrick Evans of Crockett; grandchildren, Ariyuna, Caiden, Kierra, Ayunna, Reginald, Jr., Derrick, Jr., Journey and Zion; sisters, Linza York Mills and      Marietta York Mills of Huntsville, Cheri Mills of Palestine and Deidra Wyatt of Tyler; brothers,  Gregory Mills (Verna) of Crockett and Bryan Keith York Mills of Huntsville;  uncles, Bobby Joe Mills (Georgia) of Huntsville, Eurt Baker (Mary) of Huntsville, Quince Baker (Virginia) of Crockett; devoted friend, Minnie Simpson of Crockett; special aunts, Zary Woods Simpson (Glen) of   Kansas City, Missouri, Gloria Ann Perry of Crockett; dear friends, Gregory Murray, Patrick Dennis and many of the class of 1987.
