John Albert Wilmore was born on September 25, 1945 in Grapeland, Texas to the parentage of Chester and Senora Pervis Wilmore. He attended school in the Grapeland independent School District where he played all sports and excelled in football.
At an early age, John Albert accepted Christ and was baptized at Cedar Branch Baptist Church.
John Albert enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a passion for watching football, baseball and soccer. Like many of the men from Grapeland, he carried the desire to play dominoes in his heart.
Having a kind heart and a helpful spirit, he treasured helping his family and friends whenever the need arose. For many years, he worked for Allied Metals where he was dedicated employee.
On July 1, 2026, John Albert Wilmore entered into eternal rest. He was preceded in transition by his son (John Andre Bonner), daughter (Mishala “Peaches” Morning), one grandson (Tony Hill, Jr.), his parents, and three brothers (Chester Wilmore, Charlie Wilmore, Ronald Wayne Wilmore).
Left to honor his life and cherish his memory are his children; Tony Hill, Rosalyn Fields (Gary), Gregory Murphy (Chanette), Dorisella Murphy, Courtney Aleshir (Spencer); grandchildren: Kendall Kiera Hill, Gary Fields, Jr. (Narvina), Gaylan Fields, Genay Williams, Gregory Murphy, II, Madison Murphy, Kevin Lehman, Jr., Kehara Gonzales, Roland Davis, Samuel Warner, Jr., Jayveon Murphy, Sameon Warner, DeAngelo Murphy, Samirea Warner, Rayoona Murphy; great-grandchildren: Kole Williams, Giavanni Williams, Sky Lehman, Jacion Lehman, Ny’Omi Lehman; one brother, Bobby Wilmore (Vivian); one aunt, Victoria Pervis Fisher, and a host of other relatives and friends.
