Isaac Lydale Burroughs was born on July 8, 1964 to the proud parentage of Sherman and Ruthie Burroughs. The youngest of six children, he received his primary education from Evan E. Worthing High School in Houston, Texas.
Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and made a career of serving his country honorably. Being brought up in the admonition of God, and the prayers of the righteous brought him through the service into retirement.
While serving in the Army, his travels led him to meet and marry Mellie Buncalan. On July 23, 1997, they were united in Holy Matrimony. This union was blessed with a daughter; Asia Anne Marie Burroughs.
Their travels afforded them the opportunity to visit various countries. As a member of the Army, he was stationed in Germany from 1999 to 2002.
After 23 years of dedicated service, Isaac retired. His military experience gave him the foundation to be employed as a State Trooper and Postal Worker. Following his passion for working on medical equipment, he took an assignment in San Jose, California.
On June 17, 2026, Isaac Lydale Burroughs entered into eternal rest. He preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brother (George Burroughs),
Left to honor his life and cherish his memory are his daughter, Asia Burroughs (Tyrone Wilson) of Killeen, Texas; one sister, Rosie Gray (George); three brothers: Sherman Burroughs, Conrad Burroughs (Rosilyn), Alvin Burroughs; special friend, Josie Kenery, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and co-workers.
